Subway is only reach to several places, the TAXI in Beijing is very cheap and convenient to use, only cost USD2 ~ 5 dollars to go almost everywhere! The Summer Palace costs less 10 dollars by taxi from downtown. We will supply you a card with most sights on in both English and Chinese, you can easily show taxi driver where you want to go.
So far, we supply 2 different locations of apartments which is equal distance from the Tiananmen Square for tourists, and another location Dongsishitiao Apartments in CBD area for business travelers.

20 minutes walks to the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Xidan Shopping area, Liyuan Theater and Laoshe Tea House.
5 ~7minutes walks to Hepingmen or Xuanwumen Metro station, Liulichang Antiques Street, The Sogo Shopping Mall, Quanjude Roast Duck restaurant, 24 hour ATM, Supermarkets, , Laundries, Barbershops, Chinese restaurants and Bank of China etc.
