Tour Itinerary:
Pick up from your hotel at the time you want. First we drive to Yonghegong Lamasery, the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery in present day China which was built initially at 300 years ago during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911),. Then, you can choose to go to The Confucius Temple (optional, entrance tickets: CNY10/person), built initially at 700 years ago, was one of the China's most important humanist centers. After then, take your private vehicle to the Shichahai Lake. First visit the Prince Gong's Mansion, the most classical and essential Chinese garden you could ever see! Then take a rickshaw to visit Da Jinsi Hutong Tao, the most famous Hutong keeping the original layout and the trendy Shichahai bar street. Drop in one or two courtyard- style homes and have lunch with a local family. After lunch, go to the Drum Tower, dating from 1420, ascending the drum tower and having bird's eye view of the surrounding communities of Hutongs and Siheyuan (courtyard houses). Then, walk to the famous Yandai Xiejie (Tobacco Pipe Lean Street), a quaint 800-year-old hutong, used to be well-known for sellers of long-stemmed pipes, hence the name. Then walk to the Silver Ingot Bridge, was built around 400 years ago, famous by Emperor Kangxi. After that, you can choose to visit Former Residence of Mr.MeiLanfang (optional, entrance tickets: CNY30/person), the best known Beijing Opera master ever, the greatest artist; or having a boat (optional, CNY60/hour) on the lake to relaxing your day; or take your private car to go shopping or back the hotel.
